SSCF supports SIOC
We would like to anounce that we add SIOC support to our Social Semantic Collaborative Filtering (SSCF).
SIOC and SSCF
We have incorporated SIOC into SSCF model and SSCF bookmarks interface (see Fig below). There is a special directory dedicated for storing SIOC data in a private bookshelf. This catalogue can contain three of basic SIOC concepts: Site, Forum, Post. Users can bookmark posts, or whole forums or sites. For each resource it is possible to browse the content and see its details. The SIOC-specific resources behave just like classic SSCF ones. A user is able to copy a post or forum entry and paste it into a user created directory. That is how a standard knowledge repository is enriched with community based content.
SIOC in JeromeDL
In JeromeDL - Social Semantic Digital Library also uses SIOC. In JeromeDL each bibliographic resource becomes a blog post (mapped to SIOC:Forum) and could be commented (with SIOC:Posts) by the users. System expose the semantic information about the resource and all the comments in SIOC format. Resources and its comments could be then browsed easily by SSCF interface (which supports also support SIOC) or any other SIOC browser.
