Welcome to Corrib.org Semantic Wiki
Corrib.org is a cluster project, has been started on the base of cooperation between DERI International and Gdansk University of Technology. It delivers open source components and joint publications supported by both DERI and GUT, as well as a number of other universities, companies, and private people through their various contributions.
It gathers together
- semantic infrastructure open source projects:
- JeromeDL - a full-fledged social semantic digital library
- FOAFRealm - a distributed user profile management system based on FOAF
- MarcOnt - bringing digital libraries and semantic web research together
- HyperCuP - a lightweight implementation of highly scalable P2P infrastructure
- Didaskon - on-demand composition of semantic-enabled learning objects and services
- S3B - social semantic search and browsing framework
- small open source components and libraries:
- ... and new start ups:
- Needle - weaving heterogeneous network of digital libraries with social semantic information sources.
being developed based on that cooperation and people affiliated to DERI and GUT, and other. Most of the project from Corrib contribute to the initiative of Semantic Digital Libraries.

Corrib also supervises master's thesis related to the work the students do in the project.
This cluster project runs under supervision from:
- Sebastian Ryszard Kruk
- prof. Stefan Decker
- prof. Henryk Krawczyk
- Bill McDaniel
- prof. Hong-Gee Kim
