FOAFRealm - A Distributed Identity Management System (D-FOAF)

D-FOAF is a distributed authentication and trust infrastructure without a centralized authority. It is based on FOAFRealm which provides the means to manage identity, define access control lists, and share resources with friends. Users are able to control their profile information, as it can be accessed in the open FOAF format. They can also sign in automatically across the P2P HyperCuP network of D-FOAF enabled systems. D-FOAF has been successfully deployed with the digital library project JeromeDL
